There's something pure and honest about fighting, about the physical and mental strain. Since the first time I ever put on a pair of boxing gloves... I. was. hooked.
My boxing career started when I was 15, in Höllviken, a small town in southern Sweden. I had the fortune to work with the experienced boxing coach Christer Ekberg. And almost 15 years later, you can still find him in my ring corner.
After a successful start with plenty of titles fighting for the Swedish national team I was offered a professional boxing contract when I turned 23. Said and done. I moved to Hamburg, Germany and started my professional career fighting for ECB box promotion. In Germany, I won my 10 first fights and after two years with ECB I signed a new contract with Team Sauerland, one of the best promotors in the world. Since then, my base has been in Copenhagen, training together with the eminent Joey Gamache.
Besides boxing, I've studied Human Resources, Recruitment, Workplace Health, Sports Psychology and Creative Writing. For several years I also worked as a make-up-artist and in sales for Esteé Lauder Companies. AND, I've been an expert sports commentator at Viasat in both Sweden and Denmark. Most recently during the Olympics in Brazil.
I'm also a proud ambassador and mentor at Mentor Sweden, an NGO who works with health promotion and prevention of drug abuse among children and young people in Sweden.
